Middle school 8th grade art students reached out to favorite teachers and coordinated with them to design images for their classroom ceiling tiles. Students created in groups with each student cooperating and fulfilling all the required tasks. In the photos students present their finished designs for their teachers to see. The ceiling tiles are now on display in the teachers' classrooms.

We are blessed to have an amazing School Resource Officer at United Local Schools. Officer Tab Bailey works hard to keep all of our students and staff members safe. Officer Bailey also interacts with our students by reading to our younger students, participating in earning a whipped pie to the face, always being a friendly face in the building, and helping with arrival and dismissal. We are UNITED in our appreciation for all that you do!

This week in sixth grade, we discovered that one of the honeybee hives died over the winter. However, this made for an amazing learning experience. We were able to investigate inside the hive and with our observations we began researching. We were able to come up with a few hypotheses about why this hive died but not our other hive. We even found and preserved the queen bee- Long Live the Queen!

6th grade Social Studies students made their own clay tablets with cuneiform writing on them.

We received some great drone pictures on Thursday. It is amazing to see all of their progress! These photos show some more of our new high school really taking shape. A big thank you to Hammond Construction for the pictures!
