Another milestone for the building project hit this week as we begin adding steel!
Congratulations to Mati Zines for signing to continue her athletic career at YSU. She was all EOAC 3 times, 2 time sectional champion, finished 8th at state, set a school record shooting a 31 for 9 holes and 72 for 18, and has a 4.0 GPA.

High School Art students created paintings and colored pencil and watercolor art to honor our veterans. Our art show honoring our veterans will be on display for a week.
The 8th grade art students created large welcome posters for our veterans day assembly.
HONORING VETERANS
We had a wonderful Veteran's Day program this morning, celebrating and thanking all of the men and women who have served or are serving in our military forces. It was great to see all of our area Veterans. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the breakfast and program. And - special thanks to our guest speaker, Michael Ross (EM3, Navy).

The OHSAA has changed their football playoff ticket prices. All tickets at the gate (cash only) and online are the same price now. $12 adults $9 students.
Good morning, United Local Schools will be on a two-hour delay today, November 1st, due to weather conditions. All transportation will run two hours later than normal for arrival. A message will go out to staff and students at 6 a.m.

This group of high school teachers "themed" up today in the spirit of Halloween. Any guesses to their theme?
Congratulations to this remarkable group of young men and their coaches! United held Andrews Osborne Academy (who consistently defeats opponents by double digits and will likely end up in the state championship) to only three goals today. Our eagles bring home the district runner-up trophy, and while they do not advance in tournament play, we are incredibly proud of what they have accomplished this season.
Art students in 7th grade created ceramic pumpkin and ghost luminaries. High school art created their choice of fall themed ceramics. Happy Halloween!
Many 7th graders dressed up to celebrate the end of the first nine weeks.
